hello poppets!
firstly, here is a bit of autumny type illustration about a bear i know some of you are familiar with. i have been very neglectful of this blog, so expect an excess of posts over the next few days!

as i predicted, i have been mucho mucho busy! i am enjoying portsmouth vaaairy much, it is a fabulous university and everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. well, apart from the villainous toad who stole my purse when i left it for ten minutes in the library…(technically MY fault, i know, but one wishes to believe in the milk of human kindness) but anyhow, there goes £40, my bank cards, photos of my beloved (:p) my rail card and the wart on this wholly unpleasant visage of a situation, my ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY POUND BUS PASS! gah! not forgetting stephen and i’s well earned free shakeaway voucher, i might add. we live in a cruel world, children.

so, all in all, this last week has been something on a one step forward and two steps back kind of affair, what with my phone playing up, my ipod giving up the ghost and my world famous spilling-black-tea-on-finished-sketchbook routine. however, i have had a lovely time at drama recently, as i am incredibly glad to be doing something horrendously camp and theatrical. expect me in a gilbert and sullivan production, “the gondoliers”, at a theatre near you! i also ordered a beyoootiful ipod touch with a lovely engraving on the back harking to this very blog with the tagline “magic works” from one of my favourite weird sisters songs (what do you mean you don’t have a favourite weird sisters song?)

but lo, i shall not be disheartened by my general uselessness as a person, as there are some wonderful things in the world, such as halloween house parties, playing house at stephen’s place, george’s chocolate “cakes”…

so quit your jibber jabber! enough of this lesbian jam! (oh, congrats to cissym, btw! my home girl bagged a buddhist!) and also a few words from my mentor, albus dumbledore…

“And now Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.”

now bring me that horizon!
